Materials:
1 skein Caron Simply Soft yarn, or other worsted weight yarn
Size 6 (4.0mm) double pointed needles
Size 15 (10.0mm) 16” circular needles
Tapestry Needle
Abbreviations:
CO: Cast on
k: knit
p: purl
rnd: round
sts: stitches
k2tog: knit 2 together
dpns: double pointed needles
Instructions:

CO 80 sts on size 6 dpns and join in the rnd

*k1, p1. Repeat from * around until work measures 1”
Switch to size 15 circular needles
Continue to follow k1,p1 ribbing patterns around until work measures 6”

Decrease rows:
Rnd 1: k14, k2tog
Rnd 2: k13, k2tog
Rnd 3: k12, k2tog
Rnd 4: k11, k2tog
Rnd 5: k10, k2tog
Rnd 6: k9, k2tog
Rnd 7: k8, k2tog
Rnd 8: k7, k2tog
Rnd 9: k6, k2tog
Rnd 10: k5, k2tog
Rnd 11: k5, k2tog
Rnd 12: k4, k2tog
Rnd 13: k3, k2tog
Rnd 14: k2, k2tog

switch to size 6 dpns
k2tog until there are 5 sts left on needles
Break yarn leaving an 8” tail
Using tapestry needle pull yarn from tail through the loops of remaining sts and cinch tight
Finish off

rnd 1: dc in each st around, join to beg of rnd with sl st, do not turn
rnd 2-4:  ch 2 *fpdc, bpdc* repeat to end of round, join with sl st
rnd 5: ch 2, fpdc x2 in next st, *bpdc, fpdc* 5x, bpdc, fpdc x2 in next st, *bpdc, fpdc* to end of rnd

rnd 6: ch 2, fpdc x2, *bpdc, fpdc* 5x, bpdc, fpdc x2 *fpdc, bpdc* repeat to end of round, join with sl st, Finish off.

Finishing: Weave in ends

1 - 50g ball Jojoland Rhythm superwash wool, or 110 yards worsted weight yarn
6.5mm "K" Crochet Hook

1 - Large Button, approx 1 1/2" - 2" diameter

Row 1: dc in second ch from hook and in each st across. ch 2, turn (10 sts)

Row 3: sc 3, ch 4, sk 4 sts, sc 3, ch 2, turn (beginning button-hole, 10sts)
